Ok guys, What is your favorite piece. I understand that it "All depends". But Is there one that you really enjoy listening too. One that you think about all day just waiting for the whistle to go off at work so you can get home and jam:)

To be honest, I don't have just one. Here was a previous setup with my then new Yamaha M-50 and my Kenwood KR-5150 being used as a pre-amp.

So, what is or are you favorites?

My favorite piece or pieces of gear is first, my beloved Kenwood KA-9100. My mom bought that amp brand new back in 1979 along with the matching KT-7500 tuner. I love that set so much and is very sentimental to me.

That is cool. Unfortunatly my parents were not really into audio much. My Dad came back from Vietnam with a Panasonic All-in-One Reel to Reel player. A couple of years ago when my father passed, I asked my Mom whatever happend to it. She didn't know so I've been searching for it everytime I go visit. It would be neat to enjoy something my parents had bought back then :) Would have been really neat if it had been a Kenny KA-9100

I really want to get into tubes. I'm guessing I need a bigger paycheck:(

You don't need a big paycheck to get into tubes. I've got just over $600 in my restored Fisher 800C, and an unrestored 500C.

I really am fond of this super 8 gang FM tuner (Technics ST 9030). I don't know what the future holds for analog FM , but currently, my favorite listening just happens to be classical FM radio......and Boise States transmits an exellent signal (NPR) and just about pegs my signal meter at close to 60 miles :D.
