been busy lately,
putting some of my favorite material on CD,
plus a tad on Vinyl, onto this collection of early-1990's
MAXELL XL-IIs that i happened across at at a rummage sale;

i have about ten finished so far,
and the resultant recordings have been
nothing short of FABULOUS.

this is an ongoing project of mine. i do a tape or two when convenient,
usually when i get inspired, and spend several days making a new outfit
for my favorite Anime girl doll, Shaorin.
i don't really listen to music on Audiocassette very often, actually,
but it just bothers me to own so many fantastic used cassettes
with heaven-knows-what on them, rather than prime
self-made recordings using one of the best cassette decks ever made...

I'm just opposite, I haven't recorded since about 1976......but I'm about wearing the heads off my TASCAM cassette deck listening to pre-recorded 20cent specials.

I buy them for 5/$1 and luck out with a lot of 'new age' and classical, mostly CrO2 and really enjoy my deck.....more than my CD decks.

I too, am collecting a lot of sealed type II tape, so recording is in my future, probably recording dbx lp's thru my dbx 228 to cassette (if I can figure out how (he he).

You sure seem to have some top notch stuff! Great pic's too....I always enjoy your posts.:D Chuck

if you haven't already, try to get yourself
at least one set of 1986 and 1990 TDK MA-XG.
every COMPACT CASSETTE aficianado should have
at least one pair. trust me, they're worth the inflated
prices they're commanding these days on the BAY...
