Lo and behold the mighty Marantz Model 510M.
Rated by every audio magazine back in the 70s as the best power amp ever made! Rated at 256w per channel into 8 ohms and 350w per channel into 4 ohms, but these were only very and I mean VERY conservitive ratings.
When it was tested by some magazine (which I don't remember the name of) back in the 70s, it was actually putting out double the power that Marantz rated it at, and it had no increase in distortion at all from what Marantz rated the distortion at.
The 510M was also the last Marantz built in the U.S.A

Has a bid of $1,599.
