I just noticed one of the channels all of a sudden started sounding much lower with a bunch of crackle and pop when turning the volume knob (It's not the knob, all of them have been cleaned), than I crank the volume way up and than goes away and sounds normal again when I turn it down, I shut off the unit for a while and turned it back on, than did it again, but when I give the volume a boost for a minute and turn it down, it sounds perfect.. Any clues?

I just located the problem, one of the filter switches is a little dirty..

Well thats good you resolved your issue with your SX-1250.

Sometimes you just got to go back and reclean some switches.

Thats good news :) I have a few things that I have had to clean several times. Its a PITA but once working its all good.

Use some CAIG Faderlube in your pots and switches. After the Deoxit D5 washes out the oxidation, the pots and switches have no lubrication left in them. That's one of the downsides to Deoxit. Faderlube will replace the lube, and your cleaning job will last much longer.

Sounds like a great idea, I'll take your word on that. When I have a little extra spending money I'll have to go out and buy those two products, I've tried QD electrical contact cleaner from Home Depot before on a television and for some reason it didn't work..
