Why is it, when you decide you really cannot spend any more money this year on gear unless you sell something, all the deals start popping up?

I moved into my new house, am STILL unpacking boxes, and STILL watching Craigslist on a daily basis. I told the significant other I was going to hold off spending any extra cash until next year. But I have seen some deals come by that have me really fighting it. Yamaha R-100's Yamaha R-1000's for 75.00, BA A150 speakers for 75.00, Dynaco A-25 for 50 bucks, Pioneer CS-R500 speakers for 20 bucks, Sansui X7700 speakers for 50 bucks, Yamaha P-500 turntable for 15 bucks:eek: all within the past week. Geesh:mad:

I've noticed the deals only pop up when you don't have the money to spend, but when you do, nothing ever does... Must just be luck i guess... Anything deal wise I haven't found anything in my area, other than the Sansui and SX-1250.. And the Sx-1250 i had to sell quite a few things to purchase it.....

Adam, your right. That is how it goes. Murpheys law I guess. It comes down to self control for me. If it is a move up the audio ladder, then I really think hard about. If its a move up the audio ladder and is a screaming deal I try to not think and run and catch it. So far, my money side has not said "Skip a few lunches" yet, so the guilt is not getting me.:)
