Here is a cool looking reciever from Technics. It was made in 1976 and rated at 65 wpc.

65 wpc it's a kick ass stereo.. I don't like how the fuses are on the back outside, easily can get broken I think..

They a speaker ckt protection. My silver SU 8600 has them (bare, no cover) and my black SU 8600 has them in a little plastic case.

Yeah, my SA-303 has them on the back too. I think my SA-400 does too but I have to look. But they really stay out of the way and mine have a clear cover over them. And yes, 65wpc can rock for sure :D

I figured it is a speaker ckt protector, I know UL would not approve anything with 110v bare..
