Issues with my Sony Betamax SL-25

Hey everyone, I'm having a few issues with my Sony Betamax SL-25 player, firstly it won't record, I am using blank Betacam tapes because it's the only thing I have right now but everytime I push record, it just spits the tape back out, is this because I'm using betacam tapes? Or should it still record? (I was told that betacam tapes are hard on it, so I won't use them anymore but I don't have normal beta blanks so I can't test it out with those yet) Also sometimes the playback will just randomly stop playing or it slows down and then just stops unless I lift up the actual tape a little while it's playing Does anyone have any info or advice? Or where I can find a tape deck door since mine fell off, anything would be greatly appreciated!! thanks

you must be the same as in previous thread. You issue is technical and cannot be solved here. you must take it to the repairer for repair and then use it for recording. And i hope it works because many other recorders do the same thing and the only solution is to get it repaired.
