Hi all,
Just came across this site by happenstance. I LOVE the Beta section!!! Many of the galleries are better than those on Ray Glasser's site!Anyhow, I have four Sanyo Betas, plus a Sony and a Zenith (both SL-5000-based) whose rubber parts are showing signs of age but have not completely failed. Looking for a cheaper and quicker alternative than buying replacement kits from Studio Sound, I recently tracked down some MG Chemicals "Rubber Renue." Has anyone tried this on old VCR rubber parts? How well did it work, how long did the repair last, and any tips for applying it? Thanks, Andy |

I've tried something like that before a technician gave me. It's suppose to make older worn out belts grab better, and suppose to be used for vehicles, but works on all types of belts.. I prefer to buy new belts...
