Ok so this in old Victor (later RCA) Animatorgraph/16mm projector from the late 1930s early 40s.
IT STILL TURNS ON!!!!!!!!! The bulb works. I think only one or two tubes of the lot have gone bad. I plugged a guitar into the 1/4inch input turned up the volume and it came out of the speaker and then it slowly turned down, which leads me to believe there is only one bad tube. The projector appears to work motors and all. I don't know much about it but there are 5 tubes plugged in and a spare in the box. all cables included it seems to work fine minus the one tube.A fully working speaker. I know that this is a very dangerous piece to handle because the cable to the speaker carries the tube power, which i was told not to touch unless you have worked on these before. There is a volume and a tone knob and other little video things I don't know about cuz Im all audio. I can not promise this thing in mint but i know its in great condition. Im almost 100% sure everything is there that you would gotten when you bought it back then. My tech guy was astonished! I know each handle is worth at least a $100, I do not know why but still.... VERY VERY VERY RARE Here is a website I really had to dig for to find: http://benfeist.com/animatophone/default.asp TO SEE PICTURESSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! go here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...#ht_500wt_1154 |

Wow that looks similar to an old Bell & Howell projector.. I have a old Revere S-16 projector i got off Ebay for $30.. Usually tubes change character after warm up, like my S-16, the sound is very load for the first 15-20mins and then sound begins to lower. Also paper caps are used in these old machines so those I'm sure needs replacement..
