Default Technics SA-203

I hope this is the right place for this question. I'm trying to find out if there is a simple way to connect a speaker with an RCA plug to the back of my Technics SA-203, which has connections on the back for bare wires. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Only thing i can think of is to go to Radio shack and buy two female connectors to connect another pair of RCA wires and cut off the ends and do it that way.. You don't want to cut the original wires coming out of the speaker... Anybody else have any suggestions?

Are you suggesting I get one of those splitter-type cords that has a female input on one end and two male plugs on cords at the other end and cut the RCA plugs off and strip the wires? I can try that, but my biggest concern is that the female input is flat and I'm not sure it will securely accept the RCA plug. Or is your suggestion something else that I'm just not grasping?
Thanks for the help!

You will have to buy some speaker wire..

This is even better than what i explained above..

I would just cut the cable on the speaker and hook it up bare. You can always go back and attach the RCA's if you want. If you are trying to keep it all original, then Adam has the right way

I'm afraid I'm going to have to reveal some of my ignorance. With the coupler and connectors you link to, where/how does the wire connect?

I assume you unscrew them and solder the wires on.. You should be able to get both items i linked at Radio Shack...
