Sylvania VHS VCR model VC2230SL01. Panasonic made VHS VCR. Manufactured November 12, 1984. Models were manufactured into 1985. Features, 1 event - 14 day timer, digital counter, frame advanced for pause mode, slow forward advanced, wire remote, centralized function display, which displays play, REW, FF, and slow. These VCRS were slightly ahead of the times in that era. The function display being one of the best features. Neat VCR!


Common Problems: Power supply. The symptoms will start with many different malfunctions. To name a few, front display/clock/counter/functions starts to become dim in areas, eventually going out completely, VCR does not power on, distorted picture during playback.
